Produced, recorded and mixed in a little over 3 weeks Don Bodin's Greed, Lust And Cloning is the culmination of his longing to score music for the Spy/Action genre and being inspired by a friend, composer Charles Bernstien.
"I was talking to Charles and he said I should get into music for games. I hadn't really played video games since the days of the Commodore 64, so I got an XBOX, put it on mute and dug-in" stated Don.
Focusing on what he knew best, Don began with a concept that would utilize his background in album production, classical composition training and recent experience scoring music for picture. GLAC quickly grew into more than the calling card to the games market that it was originally intended and took on a life of its own. He hired string players, operatic Soprano, Elif Savas and called on drummer Garret Hammond and guitar talent Chris Schlyer to contribute to GLAC.
As a producer Don has worked on several indie albums including projects with Dave Hoffman, Billy Stritch, and Kill Hannah. In the Spring of 2000 Don's electro-rock group, File Underwater, took the #27 position on Amazon.com's Emerging Artists Sales charts. He has also served as a live sound engineered for musical artists including: Slater-Kinney, Pink Martini, Frank Black of the Pixies, Puff Daddy, Elliot Smith, Busta Rymes and Guided by Voices.
In late 2004 Don Bodin refocused his musical efforts on scoring for picture and quickly was hired to complete scores for a several shorts, and indie feature and is currently scoring music for a full length documentary "Inshalla".
